Religious Freedom will Guarantees Economic Development in West Africa – Barr. Yakubu

Yakubu Saleh Bawa Esq. at the Conference of the J. Reuben Law Society held in Abuja, has said for us to have a sustainable economy in West Africa, we have to look into Religious freedom.
Yakubu, giving a keynote speech at the 13th annual Conference by the Africa West Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society themed: Religious freedom: A panacea for economic development in West Africa.
According to Yakubu, ” what has been going on for decades has ever been religious supremacy. Religion has hampered sustainable development growth in West Africa.”
Nigeria is one nation that has been faced with a religious crisis for decades. With the recent scenario between the Muslims and Isese traditional worshippers in Ilorin Kwara state, there is no better time to speak on the doctrine of Religious freedom.
The managing partner, Bawa, Bawa & Partners emphasized the need for religious freedom rather than religious tolerance.
And among what religious freedom does, Yakubu says, “It is freedom that gives the power to speak as you want without restriction. It fosters respect, reduces corruption by allowing faith ethics to be born, encourages border-free, overcomes regulation, and develops the economy.”
